Wednesday, April 22nd | Arrival
Arrival at Nice airport, our suggestion you take the convenient express bus to Monaco with walking distance to your hotel. We will be at the Hotel welcoming you. Try to book an earlier flight, so we get time for a shorter ride with coffee stop in Italy, 40-60 km. If you land in the morning, we can plan a longer trip. In the evening we will have a dinner all together at the Hotel.  We go through the program together with a nice welcome toast.
Thursday, April 23rd | Nice Surrounding
Today we enjoy the beautiful French coast to Nice.  After passing Nice we enter the small back roads with a rolling landscape. No big mountains today. But don't worry, we will cycle some alt meters and more will come. The target is 100-160 km, depending on your level. During the ride we will stop for a smaller lunch/coffee. In the evening, dinner at the hotel
Friday, April 24th | Mountains
Today we seek out the mountains and enjoy some wonderful hairpins. The plan is around 90-150 km and around 1600 alt.m. Today we can divide if someone want to continue a little longer. During the ride we will stop for a smaller lunch/coffee. In the evening, dinner at the hotel
Saturday, April 25th | Viva Italia
Today we will explore into Italy and enjoy the wonderful coastal strip that Italian Riviera offers. Just before San Remo, there is a wonderful cycle path from a former railway. We will be riding the pink tunnel, where the Giro d 'Italy started in 2015. We will also enjoy Poggio, the final climb of the spring classic Milan-San Remo. Today's plan is from 100 km and we can easily extend and include Cipressa. The climb before Poggio during Milan-San Remo. Where some of the sprinters are starting to feel the 300 km in the legs. We will have a little less km in our legs, but I promise Cipressa can hurt anyway ;). During the ride we will stop for a smaller lunch/coffee and this time it will be in Italy. In the evening, dinner at the hotel
Sunday, April 26th | Madone
Try to arrange a later return flight, so you get time to enjoy Col de la Madone. Lance Armstrong's former test slope for the Tour and also the bike brand Trek inspiration for their Madone model. And still a favourite for many of the pros to finish the training. Richie Porte likes to ends his training with a quick Col de Madone pass. He also has the fastest time up, 29 min something (from the bus stop). Our goal today is under 55 min, from the bus stop. Do you accept the challenge? After today's training, a quick change at the hotel and you are easily back at Nice airport with the direct bus.
